Look.Hear Exhibition by Dean Chalkley
“Look Hear” is the definitive collection of iconic music images by award-winning PYMCA photographer Dean Chalkley.
This collection of work reflects Dean’s incredible impact on music photography over the past decade. Winner of numerous awards – including: ‘Portrait Photographer of the Year’ at The Picture Editors’ Awards 2006; and the recent New Musical Express ‘Outstanding Contribution to Music Photography 2011’.
“Look Hear” will include portraits of some of the most influential and iconic figures in music this millennium. Amongst these you will find Amy Winehouse, Pete Doherty, The White Stripes, Dave Gahan, Kasabian, Jarvis Cocker, Ian Brown, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and many more.
“Look Hear”, will Preview on Friday February 3rd at 7pm to 9pm. The whole event will be a Happening. The night’s celebrations will continue with a party at The Ship Public House adjacent to the Gallery. Expect a performance from band ‘New Street Adventure’, DJ sets and a lot of dancing.
“Look Hear” continues at the White Wall Space Gallery from February 4th until 29th 2012.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 11am till 4pm and free to enter.
