NME Music Photography Awards 2011

This week the Printspace Gallery will showcase the winning photographers of the 2011 NME Music Photography Awards. The exhibition is hosted by the NME and camera manufacturer Nikon and will showcase the most stunning and original music photography from both amateur and professional photographers.

At the exhibition images from categories including Live, Portrait, Reportage, Festivals, and Under-18s will be showcased, as well as winning work by professional photographers in the Photographer of the Year category.

PYMCA Photographer Dean Chalkley is one of the NME’s most experienced photographers and he will be collecting the Outstanding Contribution Award.

The opening night is on Thursday 5th January 2012, 7pm-9.30pm. Admission is free.  Also at at the opening night the prizes for the winners of the amateur categories, the professional photographer of the year and the outstanding Contribution award will be given out.

The exhibition will then run from Friday 6th January until Wednesday 11th January, at theprintspace gallery on 74 Kingsland Road, London, E2 8DL
